| TECHNICAL SUPPORT ENGINEER |
| Job Responsibilities |
- Ability to apply intermediate level of subject matter knowledge to solve a variety of common technical/business issues.
- Works on problems/projects of moderately complex scope.
- Exercises judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action.
- Acts as an advanced team member providing analysis of information and some project direction input.
- Requires limited day to day supervision and guidance on handling unique situations.
- Follows established guidelines and interprets policies.
- Evaluates unusual circumstances and makes recommendations.

| Experience |
- Must have knowledge of assigned discipline or technical area-Unix, Databases (Oracle or DB2).
- Need fundamental to moderate technical, functional or business knowledge.
- Need basic organizational, analytical and communication skills.
- Minimum 3 years experience supporting a technical environment

APPLICATION DEVELOPERS
- Ability to develop applications on mainframe with MVS, CICS, DB2, cobol skills.
- 2 - 3 years of programming experience will be required with preference in core banking systems.
- Will be advantage to have some knowledge of banking systems and AppBuilder skills.
- Should be willing to travel and work within ASEAN.
INTERFACE DEVELOPERS
- Ability to develop the interfaces between the target system with the existing systems for data access or call function to execution on mainframe with MVS, CICS, DB2, cobol skills.
- Need to understand the application environment of the target and existing systems.
- Need to understand the architecture guidelines and standards.
- Knowledge of the industry skills will be an added advantage.
TEST CASE/TEST BED DEVELOPERS
- Experience in testing methodologies is required.
- Ability to develop and execute test cases/scripts will be required.
- Some knowledge of/experience in automated testing tools will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge on the corebanking system is important.
TESTERS
- Any developer who is interested in developing skills as a tester.
- Prior experience in testing a large system in development, testing environment will be useful.
- Knowledge of the testing environments and the tools will be an added advantage.
DATA CONVERSION SPECIALIST
- Ability to understand and analyse the source and target database environment is important.
- Need to understand the techniques of Data Mapping, Data Extraction, Data Cleanup, Data Validation and Data Loading programs.
- Knowledge of DB2 file structures on mainframe and the related tools will be useful.
- Ability to develop programs in MVS/DB2/COBOL environment is critical.
- Prior experience in data conversion in a large project is desirable.
DATA CONVERSION DEVELOPERS
- Sound database (SQL) skills on the mainframe and source environment is important.
- Ability to program in SQL, COBOL will be required.
- Knowledge of the DB2 database structure will be an advantage.
PROJECT LEADERS/TEAM LEADERS
- Ability to lead reasonably large teams (>8) in large projects will be required.
- Prior experience in handling teams will be useful.
- About 5 - 6 years experience in mainframe projects, estimating, scheduling, tracking and controlling is required.
- Ability to work under pressure and keep the team motivated will be useful.
