29-7-2005 : AmAssurance targets RM1bil premiums

AmAssurance Berhad is eyeing to record premium revenue of almost RM1 billion for the financial year ending March 31, 2006 thanks to the fully integrated solution for life, general and corporate insurance on a single platform worth RM22 million.

The new system was made possible via a service agreement signed between AmAssurance Berhad, eBaoTech Corp and MCM Technologies Berhad in Kuala Lumpur on July 28, 2005.

AmBank Group’s Chairman, Tan Sri Azman Hashim, in his speech said the new system would enable AmAssurance Berhad to provide the best customer service and better servicing efficiency with real time responses, shorter turnaround time and opportunities for cross-selling. System implementation began in May and is expected to take 15 months.
